We started our vacation the night before we left at the St.
PatPRICK party at The Earl. There was the usual piercing
performances of one sort or another. |

And master of ceremonies Chuck Brank giving away hundreds of
dollars' worth of tattoos. |
EM and I got a gift certificate each, put up with as much of the
music as we could, then split. Chuck is one of my favorite people and I
love his magazine,
now in pretty, glossy format, but I don't share his musical tastes.
The next day we made our way to Macon to see degenerates DC & BC.
Almost everyone I know has moved away and contributed to the
overpopulation of the earth. The C's have a swell house but their
firstborn, J, didn't remember me, or didn't recognize me with the change
in facial hair. He had a fine time playing with EM before we headed off
to sushi and steak, then just sort of oozed into the couch. I don't have
much desire to visit Macon proper and we had a long drive ahead of us
the next day so we called it an early night.
