THANKS...
Dottie's has remodeled again. They've totally changed the bar area for a much larger space and rumor has it they're bringing in more pool tables. The DP is doing their Press Pass cards soon so we, and other members of the press, can get in without the occasional cover charge. The tuesday night opening act Other Voices was loud, damned loud, but not altogether untalented. If you're TRYING to lose 20% of your hearing, this would be a good way to do it.
After the traditional Thanksgiving cramming cruise and afternoon of excess ammo, beer and degeneration, it's back to the big city. Running the gauntlet of holiday shoppers, it's back to the holiday mood that comes around every year. The grey cold day can't help. Retreat to Tortillia's! Some might claim Christ as their rock but for a degenerate like me there's nothing like a big belly full of warm beans to cling to when the winter wind blows cold and hard.
