"The bodies of those that made such a noise and tumult when alive, when dead, lie as quietly among the graves of their neighbors as any others."
Jonathan Edwards
BLASPHEMY:
Well, then, you'd better make some noise while you can. Heed our Prophesy for opportunities to do so.
PARTY REPORT:
The Space Ghost Dark Side of the Ghost Planet 3D laser planetarium show was excellent! Entertaining beginning to end. The funniest part was the opening audio, however -
Space Ghost "We still don't have a name for this show. Any suggestions?"
Moltar - "How about Laser Zeppelin?"
Zorak - "We can't do that!"
Moltar - "How about laser Floyd?"
Zorak - "Laser Floyd the barber!"
Moltar - "Laser Barney Feif"
z - "Laser Andy"
m - "laser Gomer"
z - "Laser Otis the drunk"
m - "Umm.... laser Sam the butcher?"
Space Ghost - "bzzzz - wrong show. moltar loses! It's settled then, laser Otis the drunk it is!"
z - "um, we can't do that"
sg - "hy not?"
z - "we just can't"
They later settle on Dark Side of the Ghost Planet but the jokes kept flying. The 3D effects shifted between unnoticable to astounding and they played a new Space Ghost Coast to Coast show (staring Joel Hodgson from MST3K), a rerun, some clips from Cartoon Planet, some random new rock videos, and other sundry silliness. The most hep event of the year by far.
Next, we were off to Dottie's. KARAOKE IS DEAD! Long live Juke Box music. Free pool continues but cheap beer isn't as cheap as it used to be. Still cheap, just not AS cheap.
Then it was off to Star Bar for Hot Stanky Funk night. It was hot, some were stanky, and we funked. This event is becoming too crowded to be fun so we may abandon it for Fridays at Kaya for the same music and crowd but in more space. Keep your ears peeled. Or shucked?
Drive through Taco Bell at 1:30 AM is edible, if you've been drinking enough to sterilize the food on the way down. Don't let your designated driver partake, however!
