EAR PLUGS
This trickled down the grape vine to me this evening:
I am sorry to announce the Freight Room will be closing its doors Dec.
31st 1998. The Railroad is detirmined to have the building off of their property.
The City of decatur has decided that the building must be brought up to "code".
Items that have passed their inspection for years are no loger passing. Decatur
has agreed to let us stay open until the end of this year. Please understand
I can no longer sink money into building that the landlord now wants to tear
down. Moneies raised to save this building will be used by GARP (Georgia Association
of Rail Passengers) to save some structure somewhere. Mebe this one.
