EAR PLUGS
Last episodes’ “Thank god Rolling Stone didn’t mention The Star
Bar” generated a mess of “Then you obviously haven’t seen the
latest Cosmo.” responses. Apparently Cosmo has quite the spread on our
favorite joint.
Between the two, I’d prefer it had been Rolling Stone. While I don’t
particularly like the magazine much (it has degenerated into mainstream mediocrity),
I downright loathe Cosmo. Skeletal, overmade models with plastic breasts, article
after article about how to please your man, countless ways on how to make yourself
shallow and utterly uninteresting! So next time I hit the Star Bar and it feels
that much more like Buckhead I’ll know who to blame.
