EAR PLUGS
Monday we called in sick to avoid spreading the plague we've gotten, but also so we could stay home and finish the audible experiments that will be loosed upon participants at the 14th annual Degenerate Press New Year's Eve Carnal Carnival! It's sounding damn good if I do say so myself.
We also worked on the Electric Degeneration archives, something we started a while back but have yet to complete. It's tough to get 6 years worth of ezines archived online in HTML, but it's happening. We have now completed all of 1996, a year that included our trip to Italy, countless shows, the usual DP parties, some fine blasphemy, and the birth of the Ear Plugs for Atlanta web site! That's right, in October of '96 the biggest (in it's time) and best (to this day) web page about Atlanta's music scene was born, kicking and screaming and dripping with afterbirth. Memories, in the corners of my mind...
