INFRASTRUCTURE
Sorry for the lack of Ear Plugs this week. Between illness, corporate takeovers,
and vacation plans for the weekend we ain’t got out much.
We did get a little work done on the Ear Plugs site so cruise over there if
it’s been a while.
I found this in SLAB's Jan/Feb issue in the Cool Music Websites section:
“Ear Plugs- Ear Plugs have been around for a while. They go and see and
then review bands in their own un-humble opinions. They pretty much lay it on
the line because if they think you suck, they'll tell the world via this website.
I emailed them for 3 years trying to get them to come and review our band and
they never came. I think it's more of a "if we happen to be there, we'll
cover it" kind of thing. But regardless, it looks like they're having fun
anyways.”
This weekend we’ll happen NOT to be there as we’ll be out of town.
But if you’re in town you’ll have a tough time narrowing down your
choices. Pretty much any weekend we leave town you can guarantee there will
be more good shows than you can shake a pick at.
One obit we omitted last episode - Screamin' Jay Hawkins died this past weekend.
He'll be missed.
