I was still writing for the Loafing in September, so rather than full pages for each event you get this poo poo platter. Eat up!
| Lenny's finally moved. The opening night featured acts that made the old location, back when it was still Dottie's, a mecca for the hipster/college set. Those folks have all gotten old and had kids and moved to the 'burbs, so you'd think the opening night would feature all DJ racket, but no, they had Motor 76 kick things off. | |
Followed by El Caminos.
And Rock City Dropouts.
The new club has some weird paintings on the walls, a nice sound booth,
more room, and bathrooms that don't smell like a swamp (yet.)

One of the last shows at Mulligan's was a scooter festival, infested with vespa vermin. |
They brought some really pretty rides.
It featured Lust, Sassparilla the Singing Gorilla, and some burlesque.
East Atlanta Village Strut
I think this is Daddy A Go Go with backup percussionists pulled from the crowd.
Some random rapping/hip hop.
And the fun parade.
Dogs and future barbecue included.
